Kesha Whitaker
Public Information Officer

Kesha Whitaker is the Public Information Officer of Shelby County Criminal Court Clerk’s Office, 30th Judicial District.

Kesha’s career includes notable roles such as journalist at the Olympic Winter Games, Communications Specialist for the New Jersey Legislature, and Director of Media Relations for the Atlantic Sun Conference. She has also held key positions such as Public and Media Relations Manager for the Shelby County Trustee’s Office.

A Memphis native, Kesha is a graduate of The University of Memphis with a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and has been recognized as a Distinguished Toastmaster and past District 43 Public Relations Manager for Toastmasters International.

 

Her achievements include being named to the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 and Divine Magazine’s 40 Movers and Shakers Under 40, as well as receiving the New Tri-State Defender Woman of Excellence Award.

Kesha enjoys traveling, reading, and podcasting. She is passionate about mentoring young professionals and contributing to community development.
