Jennifer Johnson Mitchell has practiced law since 2001. Her primary focus was criminal defense where she served her clients with sound legal representation. She began her legal career with the Office of the Shelby County Public Defender in 2001. She later opened The Law Office of Jennifer Johnson Mitchell, PLLC.

She received her law degree from Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law in 2001. She also attained a Master’s Degree from The University of Memphis in Criminal Justice in 1993 and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1992. She attended high school at Memphis Catholic High School.
